FlickStat (www.flickstat.com) is a football statistics and data visualisation platform. This page explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email us at flickstat@gmail.com.

Browsing without an account: you can use almost all of FlickStat without signing in. We collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (page views, device type, country) to understand which features people use. This analytics data is not tied to your identity.

If you create an account: we store your email address and the display name you choose, plus content you create on the site (for example, match predictions and leaderboard entries). We use this only to operate those features. We never sell your personal data.

We use Google AdSense to show advertising on some pages. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads, including the DoubleClick cookie, which may serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites (“personalised advertising”).

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EU/UK are shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are set, and can change their choice at any time.

We use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics (Vercel Analytics) to measure traffic and performance. It does not use cross-site tracking cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors.

Account data is stored with Supabase, our database provider. The site is hosted on Vercel. Both are industry-standard providers with their own security and compliance programmes.

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data entirely. Email flickstat@gmail.com from the address on your account and we'll action it within 30 days.

FlickStat is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
